HAUL: Philippine Drugstore Brands

Late of last year, I have decided my hauls will be themed ^_^ For my first haul of the year, I wanted to buy products that are all locally-made. Check out my finds from Watson’s!

My Posh Nail Polish in Satin White

I like applying white nail polish as base because it helps colored nail polish appear more vibrant. Try it!

La Belle Colorless Nail Polish

I couldn’t find my colorless nail polish so I bought a new one. My being careless can be costly sometimes because that means I always have to buy replacements for whatever it is I’ve lost.

Sassy Colors Nail Polish Remover
I always run out of nail polish remover so I decided to buy a big bottle, in order to save more.

Careline Pimple Concealer in Natural
I can’t stand stick/cream concealer because they always tend to look patchy on my skin. I got this Careline Pimple Concealer in Natural because I know that liquid concealer is best for oily skin types.  For the price, I don’t think this concealer will completely cover up my blemishes but come on, for Php80 (less than $2) what can go wrong?  At least I think this will work best to conceal dark under eye circles.

Fashion21 Aqualicious Lipstick in Little Mermaid

This lipstick has a nice coral shade. I think it’s beautiful for a bridal look! It brings out the youth and glow from any skin tone.

Nichido Girls' Night Out Eye Contour Pencil in Blackest Black

I’ve misplaced my Nichido Mineral Kohl Pencil in Onyx (what’s new?) which was my most favorite and first ever eye liner owned. I liked it a lot that it got down to what seemed like under 2 inches in length. A pencil that short when lost is understandably hard to find.  I bought a new one, still from Nichido. But this one is from the Girls Night Out line, which I heard are just as pigmented but smudges less than kohl.

I like using local brands! I'll probably do more of these hauls in the future :)

  3. I'll have to try the white nail polish base! And I love coral lips on brides! Such a gorgeous neutral-enough lip color for a special day!

  4. is Nichido a local brand? anyway, I've been meaning to buy a black eyeliner pencil from them. Is their Kohl Pencil in Onyx ok for the waterline?

    1. Yes it is! It's under Jemica Cosmetics Philippines. It has a Japanese name, but it's sold no where else but here :) It's not advisable to use it on the waterline alone because it smudges easily. Try setting it with eyeshadow :)

  5. Nice haul. Try Regular White not satin as base. It will look even more great.

  9. It is, it's my new favorite lippie :)) Sadly, the concealer doesn not completely conceal my blemishes, but it's also good for the under eye :D
