Mary Kay Eye Love It! Set

For me, Mary Kay is one of the most underrated make-up brands. I don't see a lot of bloggers using or featuring their products, probably because they're not as widely available as cosmetics found in drugstores. You can buy their products exclusively from a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant which can be limited, depending on the area you’re in. One of my favorite Mary Kay products is the Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara in I <3 Black, which I got from the Mary Kay Eye Love It! Set.

The Eye Love It! Set contains the following items:

Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara in I <3 Black
Mary Kay Heated Eyelash Curler in a travel pouch
Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Make-up Remover

I was so intrigued by this heated eyelash curler! I was hesitant to use this in fear of damaging my eyelashes. We all know how delicate our eyelashes can be, right? This is recommended for those with super short eyelashes because a heated eye lash curler can reach even the tiniest strand. Otherwise, I still prefer using the traditional eye lash curler.

This heated eye lash curler operates with one AAA alkaline battery. If you're curious on how to use this, here's how:

Step 1
Remove cap and turn ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The indicator light will illuminate when the switch is in the proper position. Let the curler heat up- about 30 seconds.

Step 2
Once the eyelash curler is fully heated, it’s ready for use. To curl lashes, place the curler in the middle section of mascara-free lashes, positioning the heated comb directly under the lashes and slowly lift it up. Hold that position for about 8 - 10 seconds.

Step 3
Repeat Step 2 if needed, then turn the switch in the OFF position.

"Clean definition and just the right amount of volume. Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara features a new flexible, contoured brush and unique quick-dry, long-lasting formula that emphasizes even the tiniest of  lashes. Paired with Mary Kay Heated  Eyelash Curler, you’re sure to achieve a show-stopping look."

This of course, is my favorite Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara! I am lovin' the bristles and consistency of this mascara.

The last product from this set is the Mary Kay Oil-Free Make-up Remover which is also worth raving about. It removes make-up in a swipe – no need to tug on your skin! By the size of it, it’s great to carry around when travelling.   I barely use it because I'm saving it for that purpose only :p

If you're interested with Mary Kay products, go see a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant near you ^_^ I know a couple here in Iloilo City, if you want to get their contact numbers, just let me know!

  2. I would have love to try Mary Kay, but it's too expensive for me! I've heard that the quality is comparable to MAC though. I might give it a try in a year or two.
